Rich Santanella Memorial Scholarship

The Plainville Wind Ensemble Rich Santanella Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship honoring the legacy of longtime member Rich Santanella. The recipient of this award is a Plainville High School student that is an active participant in the band program, involved in their community, and demonstrates leadership. As part of the scholarship application, we ask students to reflect on the ways in which music has impacted their life and school career, as well as how they will continue to play music in the future.

The scholarship committee is proud to award the 2026 Rich Santanella Memorial Scholarship to Emma Muldoon. We look forward to choosing the next recipient in 2027!
