	For those looking for a fun and romantic night out, an evening of dancing with a favorite partner, or just an entertaining night out with family and friends, the Plainville Wind Ensemble is hosting an evening of great dance music provided by Center Stage Jazz. The fund raiser for the Ensemble will be held on February 10th , 7-11pm, at The New England Carousel Museum, 95 Riverside Avenue, Bristol. The Museum houses one of the largest collections of antique carousel pieces in the country and a large beautiful dance hall. Those attending the dance can experience the "Golden Age of the Carousel" throughout the evening as they browse through the colorful displays of the hand-carved carousel animals of America's rich folk art history throughout the dance hall and below in the Museum area. The museum is known for its dedication to the acquisition, restoration, and preservation of operating carousels and carousel memorabilia. This is a “dress to impress” evening. Participants may bring their own snacks, mixers and BYOB. Tables may be reserved when purchasing tickets of eight or more. Tickets are $15.00 per person and may be purchased from any Ensemble member, or the Plainville Recreation Department on Whiting Street, Plainville. A limited amount of tickets will be sold at the door. It is recommended to call ahead to 860-747-1851 to reserve tickets at the door as this is a popular event and fills quickly. All proceeds will benefit the Plainville Wind Ensemble, a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) program.
